Sheldon is a lawyer at Williams HR Law, where he practices in all areas of management-side labour, employment, and human rights law. He provides advice and representation to both unionized and non-unionized employers on a broad range of issues, including employment agreements and policies, employment standards, wrongful dismissal litigation, discipline and termination, human rights and accommodation, attendance and disability management, labour board proceedings, grievance arbitration, privacy, and workplace safety and insurance.
Sheldon also conducts impartial third-party workplace investigations in relation to allegations of workplace harassment, discrimination, and various other forms of misconduct. In addition, he provides legal advice and guidance to employers conducting in-house investigations.
Prior to joining the firm, Sheldon worked at a law firm in London, United Kingdom and gained legal experience working for multiple organizations in Toronto.
Sheldon is a graduate of the University of Leicester School of Law. While at Law School, Sheldon was involved in multiple Pro Bono projects where he delivered presentations to the local community on a variety of legal issues and discussed with entrepreneurs some of the legal aspects behind running a business. Sheldon obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Concordia University.
Sheldon speaks French and has every intention to learn Spanish one day. When not at work, Sheldon enjoys exercising, attending dance lessons and sporting events, and reading about current affairs and the evolution of the law.
