Devin is an articling student at Williams HR Law, where she assists in various areas of management-side labor, employment, and human rights law, and in the Firm’s workplace investigation and review practice. Devin returned as an articling student after joining Williams HR Law as a summer student in 2023.
Previously, Devin worked in the financial services sector, providing tailored solutions to a wide range of client needs, including lending, fraud detection and prevention, collections, mortgages, and credit card disputes.
Devin is a graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Common Law program. While in law school, Devin gained experience in labor and employment law, as well as immigration and refugee law. She also worked as a student case worker in the family law division at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, where she developed skills in alternative dispute resolution. Throughout her legal studies, Devin also worked as an English language teacher and volunteered as a mentor in the UOttawa JurisMentor program.
Before attending law school, Devin earned a history degree from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, where she was co-captain of the debate team.
In her free time, Devin enjoys spending time with family and friends, and her hobbies include gardening and traveling.
